Wax Sound Media - Practice

Wax Sound Media creates unique sound and multimedia installations for a diverse range of arts and cultural contexts including museums, galleries and public sites.

Often working in conjunction with curators, architects and designers, Wax Sound Media develops new possibilities for the creative use of sound in cross-disciplinary environments.

Wax Sound Media regularly works with producers and curators in many of Australia’s national, state and smaller museums, where we have composed soundscapes throughout the museum exhibition, together with sound designs for specific interactive and video elements.

We have specialist expertise in creating centrally controlled soundscapes that change over time, for both outdoor and indoor sites.

Additionally, Wax Sound Media produces all of Sonia Leber and David Chesworth's installation, performance and touring projects for galleries, performance spaces and the public domain.
